Architecture, Construction and Engineering Pathway
Pathway Lead: Mr. Klyde Wilson
 
Mr. Wilson was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County. He came from a family of California educators from the 1920's through the 1980's, who graduated from institutions such as USC, UCLA and Whittier College. His family taught at the University, primary and secondary levels of both public and private sectors. Mr. Wilson grew up in Montebello and attended the K-12 public schools of MUSD. He is a graduate of ELAC, CSULA, and the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Ca. holding 2 degrees in the fields of Industrial and Environmental Design. 
 
Mr. Wilson has over 35+ years of experience working in the private sector as an Architectural Designer, having worked for firms such as HMC Architects, Leo A. Daly, Gruen Associates and JPI International Design. Projects of these firms include Healthcare, K-12, post-secondary educational facilities, commercial, government and themed architectural projects. Clients of these firms include select healthcare organizations such as Kaiser Permanente, Loma Linda University Medical Center and Catholic Healthcare West. Select educational clients include UC, Cal State University and LAUSD. Select government clients include the U.S Postal Service, the State of California as well as Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino County government projects. Select commercial clients include The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros. and a long list of both large and small private, commercial and various developers. 
 
In 2014, Mr. Wilson became a CTE Teacher, receiving his credential from the University of San Diego. He currently teaches at a wall-to-wall Pathway High School, specifically at the Applied Technology Center High School, where he teaches Architecture and Engineering. Mr. Wilson is now the Architecture Construction and Engineering Pathway Lead. Mr. Wilson enjoys leading fellow teachers and instructing students in the field of Industrial Design Innovations.
